FAQ’s

What is an "icebreaker" session and who are they for?

For those experiencing difficulties transitioning to retired life, my free 30 minute “icebreaker” session offers an opportunity for us to connect and understand your current struggles. We’ll explore what your life could look like without the obstacles you’re facing and how we can work together to achieve your goals with a solid plan, support, and strategy.

Who do you typically work with?

I collaborate with individuals who are ready to break free from their limitations, overcome personal obstacles, and develop strategies to build new habits. Together, we aim to create an empowered life filled with purpose and well-being.

What’s the difference between a "Retirement Transition Coach" and a therapist?

As a Retirement Transition Coach, my focus is on the present and future, helping clients set realistic goals and create actionable plans to achieve them. Unlike therapists, who often delve into past experiences to understand current issues, I concentrate on practical, solution-oriented steps. I don’t prescribe medication; instead, I guide clients in taking concrete actions towards their retirement goals.

Do you conduct in-person sessions?

I conduct all my sessions virtually (Zoom). This allows for greater flexibility and convenience, ensuring that we can connect no matter where you are located.

Do you discuss finances, politics or religion?

I don’t offer financial advice as I’m not qualified in that area, and I steer clear of political discussions due to their volatile nature. As for religious discussion, that’s far beyond my earthly skills. If you need guidance in any of these areas, I can recommend a qualified professional.
